Due to some loon getting married on the same day as Dusk till Dawn, the Chelmer team have decided to go to the The 12-12 instead, riding from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
Its run by Gorrick and will be held at Minley Manor on the 6th of September, the truck, Jon and the Chelmer entourage will be there from first light.... so why not join us.

Broomfield to John O'Groats...and back! |
To raise
money for Broomfield Hospital's
Intensive Care Unit, 4 amateur cyclists from the ICU
and operating theatres will set out from the Hospital
on the 2nd of
July and ride to
John O’Groats …. then turn round and ride back.
4,400 miles ridden, 9 tyres, 14 Punctures, 400 Energy Gels and 31 counties later, we arrived back at Broomfield Hospital at 18.20 on the 12th of July.
A tremendous reception party of family and friends where waiting for us, armed with champagne, beer, and a BBQ, as we crossed the line after the last leg from Lincoln. A big Thank you! to everyone who supported and helped organise the party, The Crouch Vale brewery for the beer, Jon for the all his help and everyone else who turned up … which I think was everyone who supported and helped organise the party. Its not too late to donate money to our appeal, the “Just giving” site will run on up till September and Jon is still taking donations at Chelmer Cycles. If you have already made a donation then thank you very much, we will be putting the final amount raised on the site later when it is known. Last and certainly not least to the long-suffering families of the riders THANK YOU for your patience and letting us go on this mentalists dream. |
